Wagashi Mini Bundle - Hanami Dango - Half Yard

Wagashi are Japanese sweets - a perfect description of what this small but delightful bundle contains! You will receive three half-yard cuts of fabric in this bundle. The colors in these fabrics are reminiscinet of hanami dango, a sweet mochi that is often eaten during cherry blossom season. Each fabric features a print that is inspired by a traditonal Japanese motif:

• Seigaiha, or ocean waves. This pattern symbolizes peace and good fortune.
• Asanoha, or hemp leaf. This pattern symbolizes strength, resilience, and good fortune, especially for children.
• Igeta, a hashtag-shaped grid design. This symbolizes the wooden frame of a well, signifying life and good fortune due to water being a source of life.

Use this for:

• A hanami-inspired table runner (see photo)
• Pair with additional fabrics in your stash to make a beautiful quilt
  
• Projects where you need a fabric that "reads as" a solid
