If you've never encountered dobby fabrics before, you're in for a treat! Dobby fabric has a slightly raised, uneven texture, that is still durable and suitable for piecing and applique. Dobby fabric is often used in Japanese quilting for its unique texture and how it plays with light. Also suitable for tops, dresses, skirts, pants, and home decor projects.

This dusky pink dobby is a printed fabric, meaning that the color was deposited onto the fabric, not dyed. It's a great accent fabric to incorporate with other printed dobbys to achieve a composition that is balanced and not *too* busy. It's also gorgeous on its own!
